Indeed Ignorance Is A Major Factor Regarding The "DROUGHT" PART ONE

What happens when a dishonest , incompetent

, official from West Basin Municipal Water District makes the mistake of believing that about 40 million people are ignorant?

He's about to find out and he's not going to like it.

Three days ago a man named Scott Houston published an article in which he claims that the people of Ca are failing to act upon urgent warnings of immanent environmental disaster and global catastrophes.

Mr Houston , who is on the board of the West Basin Municipal Water District, then asks why 40 million residents of Ca are not behaving like there is a crisis upon us.

He wonders " is it willful ignorance?" The evidence presented by Mr Houston of this pending doom is non existent. Mr Houston cites as his primary source the recent UN report from the IPCC

which warns of floods,droughts, wildfires, and even war brought on by water scarcity. The IPCC says we're on the verge of a tipping point for global catastrophe, all of it the result of climate change.

Because we are not taking the IPCC seriously we are , according to Mr Houston, willfullt ignorant. Really?

Let's zoom in on that and see who is ignorant.

First and foremost the issue of climate change and its affects are matters of science not politics and therefore our understanding and knowledge of climate change needs to be informed by science and not politics. Period.

That being said, it begs the question as to whether Scott Houston is aware of the FACT that the IPCC is NOT a panel of scientists rather the IPCC IS a panel of politicians, unelected ones at that.

Is Mr. Houston incompetent or just willfully ignorant of the FACT that he is quoting politicians while engaging in a discussion of science. What of the fact that this guy is trying to label us as ignorant because we aren't dumb enough to conflate politics with science?

Next there's the fact that either Mr Houston is intentionally leaving out other important parts of the IPCC report that disclose the FACT that the models and projections used in developing the report's conclusions are wholly unreliable. Did he lie to us or did he willfully ignore the rest of the report by failing to read the whole thing?

Ignoring Newsome's call to reduce water usage by 15% is ignorant? Hardly.

In part two of this column we will expose the ways in which politicians,gvt. , and clowns like Scott Houston are the problem and not climate change. We will ask Mr Houston why and how is it that us "ignorant" Californians have been mandating that the CA gvt address our water issues since 1996 by passing eight different measures over 22 yrs and providing over $27 billion to construct the necessary infrastructure to avoid this gvt created water shortage that they are egregiously calling a drought.

We will discover that these same imbeciles that demand we cut back and sacrifice are making those demands on us ALL WHILE ALLOWING TRILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER TO SIMPLY RUN OFF INTO THE OCEAN
