Pic of the Day: From Montbury Neighborhood

Share your great or interesting photo with neighbors in your Lake Forest Patch.

By Martin Henderson

It's easy to get caught up in the pavement in town. Easy to never look past the asphalt of the treelined streets. But sometimes, when you're outside and you take a deep breath, you can see what you're missing.

Anita Schoen of Lake Forest snapped off this photo that reminds us of what we have in front of us if we take the time to look. She calls it, "From Montbury Neighborhood"

Have you got a great photo because it's poignant, funny, creative, stirring, action-packed, interesting, artistic or different?

Feel free to pass your in-focus (preferably) photo of everyday life along to local editor Martin Henderson on the Lake Forest Facebook page, or send an email to martin.henderson@patch.com. You can also text him your photo at 949-354-1734.

Name your photo (so we can put it in the headline), tell us who the photographer is, and share it with your neighbors. If you've got a story about the photo, feel free to share that, too.

Don't be shy. You've got your camera phone, you've got an itchy trigger finger, snap off a moment in time and share it on Patch. And, if you don't want to go through a third party, upload it directly through a Blog or the Board in the same way that this one is.

Editor's Note: E-mail your photos to martin.henderson@patch.com
