LA MESA, CA — Summer is almost over and school is around the corner. That's why back-to-school planning has already begun in La Mesa, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day of school in La Mesa-Spring Valley School District and Grossmont Union High School District.
The first day of school is Aug. 10 for students in La Mesa-Spring Valley School District and Aug. 15 for students in Grossmont Union High School District.
