July 4 Weekend To Bring Heat Relief To La Mesa

Temperatures across San Diego County are expected to gradually cool as Independence Day weekend approaches.

LA MESA, CA — After hot temperatures prompted a heat advisory this week for La Mesa, cooler weather is expected in the city and across the region during the July 4 weekend.

La Mesa residents will see temperatures in the low- to mid-70s Saturday through Sunday, according to Accuweather.

On the Fourth of July, a high of 72 degrees is predicted, with 10 percent cloud coverage in the skies in the morning, according to Accuweather. Once the clouds burn off, residents can expect a sunny Independence Day.
