Lafayette Holding National Night Out Event
You can meet with members of the Lafayette Police Department and Contra Costa Fire at the amphitheater at the Lafayette Library.
LAFAYETTE, CA — Come out and visit with your Lafayette police officers and firefighters next Tuesday for National Night Out.
The Lafayette Police Department, Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Lafayette Crime Prevention Commission and Lafayette Emergency Preparedness Commission will be on hand from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Amphitheater, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. (Golden Gate Way at First Street).
Held annually in the United States and Canada, National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

National Night Out was created to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Food will be available for purchase at Ofie’s Kitchen Food Truck.
