Police Look For Leads In Lafayette Business Break-Ins
The Lafayette Police Department is investigating two recent commercial burglaries. Money taken, no clues left.
LAMORINDA, CA — The Lafayette Police Department is investigating two recent commercial burglaries.
On Wednesday morning, Lafayette police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Golden Gate Way after workers from the business discovered damage to the front door.
Officers found no one inside.

Employees told officers that a cash register was gone. Police did not report how much money was inside the register.
Thursday Lafayette police responded to an early alarm in the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard. Officers on the scene found a front glass door that had been smashed. Officers searched the building but found no suspects.

The owner said that a safe and a cash register drawer had been taken during the burglary, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
Detectives are investigating connections between the two burglaries.
