2 Livermore Clerks Arrested, Cited In Tobacco Stings

LIVERMORE, CA — Two people were arrested in a series of tobacco sting operations conducted at local businesses by the Livermore Police Department.
The employees worked at Safeway Gas and Cloud Smoke Shop, said Officer Taylor Burruss. They were released with tickets after their arrest.
The sting was conducted by the police department's school resource officer unit, according to a statement from the Livermore Police Department. Police regularly insect businesses for violations.

One business was selling flavored vape products, in violation of city laws, police said.
