Brush Fire Near Livermore Fully Contained
Firefighters said the fire was stopped just before 5 Tuesday evening.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters fully contained a wildfire that ignited Tuesday morning near Livermore, Cal Fire said Tuesday evening just before 5. The fire spread to 11 acres.
Forward progress was stopped at 12:30 p.m., Cal Fire said.
Firefighters were expected to stay on the scene for up to four hours to make sure it was fully out, Cal fire said.

The fire was off Bruns Road and Bethany Lane in Byron near Livermore. The report came in at 11:37 a.m., according to the PulsePoint phone app.
There was no update given on injuries.
