LIVERMORE, CA — Smoke hung over Tri-Valley Monday morning as firefighters battled a blaze at a commercial Livermore building.

Firefighters arrived to find the building was well-involved in the fire, said Deputy Fire Chief Joe Testa. There was nobody inside the boarded-up building, so firefighters began to fight the fire from the outside, Testa said.

The fire was controlled in about an hour. A total of 10 fire engines and 35 firefighters battled the blaze, including some from the Alameda County Fire Department, he said.
