Red Flag Warning Issued For East Bay Hills: NWS
Weather officials said gusty winds and dry conditions are likely this week.

EAST BAY, CA — Gusty wind conditions are expected across the Bay Area and Monterey Bay regions Monday evening into Tuesday morning, prompting a Red Flag Warning, according to the National Weather Service.
Though all areas above 800 feet in elevation are expected to experience increased winds, the strongest gusts likely will occur across the Napa County and Santa Cruz mountains, the weather service said. Winds are expected to range from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph and isolated peaks possibly gusting to 55 mph in Napa County.
Relative humidity will remain in the 50 percent range overnight, lessening fire dangers, except in the Santa Lucia Mountains, where they are expected to be near 20 percent. Although relative humidity levels are
expected to fall Tuesday and Wednesday, so are wind speeds.
