Free Tax Help Available For Lower-Income Livermore Families

The Tri-Valley Career Center is offering virtual services for some in Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — The dreaded tax season is upon us, but a local nonprofit is offering free tax help for local families who learn $75,000 or less.

Residents of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore can sign up hereto get help from the Tri-Valley Career Center.

Residents have two options for getting help: remote virtual services on in-person drop-off and pick-up services.

For those who choose in the in-person services, participants may drop off tax items at the Dublin Professional Center (7600 Dublin Blvd.) on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through April 7. A U.S. Internal Revenue Services-certified volunteer will review your documents.

Return a week later, on a Wednesday during the same time frame, to sign and pick up tax returns. Volunteers can e-file returns for you, according to the Tri-Valley Career Center.
