High Temps Could Affect Those With Compromised Respiratory Conditions
BREAKING: People with compromised respiratory conditions should also drink plenty of water, the Bay Area Air District said.

The Bay Area Air District cautioned people with compromised respiratory conditions such as asthma that high temperatures throughout the week could worsen their symptoms. Those with such conditions are advised to get to a cooler location, such as shade, air-conditioned space or a room with a fan, the air district said.
People with compromised respiratory conditions should also drink plenty of water, the district said.
Additionally, the district advised keeping inhalers and respiratory medications close by at all times, avoiding exertion during the hottest part of the day and seeking medical attention if experiencing
difficulty breathing.
