LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a man on suspicion of homicide, the LPD announced. On Tuesday, officers conducted a traffic stop on Bradley Vargas, 38, and discovered he had an arrest warrant related to a July shooting in Stockton. He was detained and booked without incident into the San Joaquin County, Stockton police said.

Vargas was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a shooting incident that took place the night of July 23, according to Stockton police. Officers arrived to find an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
