PG&E is currently replacing sections of a natural gas pipeline on the west side of Livermore near Isabel Avenue, and beneath Rutan Drive and Airway Boulevard. The construction is part of a system-wide program to ensure the safety of the transmission pipelines that deliver gas across the region. Work began in mid-January and is scheduled to run through late May.
