“I would be humbled and honored to continue to serve our community as Mayor,” Marchand said in a statement. “I’m grateful for the continued vote of confidence from Livermore residents. Our fine city continues to deliver quality of life improvements for our community. We’ve addressed requests for enhancements in our Springtown district with the addition of a community garden and pickleball courts. I just recently broke ground for the expansion of Blacksmith Square which will enhance the dining and shopping opportunities for our residents and guests, while preserving our rich heritage. In response to community concerns, the city council recently modified the airport standards to require the sale of unleaded fuel for small-piston-driven planes.”
