Livermore Airport To Host Open House

This year's open house, celebrating its 26th year, will feature static displays and plenty of fun for the entire family.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Airport will hold its annual Open House Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., airport officials announced.

This year's open house, celebrating its 26th year, will feature a static display of general aviation, military/warbirds, antique/classic, experimental/homebuilt and aerobatic type aircraft, general aviation flybys and displays and information from a variety of aviation vendors.

Representatives from flight schools located at Livermore Municipal Airport will be on hand along with airborne law enforcement and air rescue aircraft, a variety of Livermore Police Department exhibits and the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department safety house.

Mobile gourmet food from the Food Truck Mafia will be available for purchase at the event located at 680 Terminal Circle in Livermore.

"Hosting the Livermore Airport Open House isn't just about showcasing aviation," City Manager Marianna Marysheva said. "It's an opportunity for the community to gain a better understanding of the services and many benefits provided by the Livermore Airport to the greater Tri-Valley region."
