Livermore DUI Arrests: See How Many Occurred In 2020

Police continue to urge intoxicated drivers to call a friend, taxi, Uber or Lyft for a ride.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department arrested 238 people on suspicion of driving while under the influence in 2020.

That's a 14 percent decrease from 2019, when police arrested 279 people on suspicion of DUI,

"Still way too many drunk drivers on the road," police road.

Livermore police urge people to call a friend, taxi or ridesharing service such as Uber or Lyft instead of getting behind the wheel after imbibing.

"Let's continue the downward trend in 2021," police said.
