Livermore Fatal Crash Victims Identified: Coroner

The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau identified the 49-year-old and 23-year-old who died in a collision on Isabel Avenue.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office released the names of two people who died in a Livermore car crash in April. The two victims are Jorge Gutierrez, a 49-year-old from Tracy, and Isaiah Daniel Paiva, a 23-year-old from Manteca.

On April 21 at around 5:55 a.m., Gutierrez's Dodge Ram pickup truck ended up in the southbound lane of Isabel Avenue with Paiva's Honda, where they collided, according to a Livermore Police Department report.

Gutierrez was a father, son, and husband driving to work, according to a GoFundMe page set up for him. Family and friends described him "hardworking and dependable," according to a funeral notice.

Paiva was a football player at Delta Charter School, a member of Grace Community Church, and an employee on the Tesla production line, according to an obituary. He was an an avid gamer, a 49ers fan, and a "true lover of life" with a "goofy personality," "vibrant spirit and infectious laughter."
