Livermore National Night Out Registration Open
One of the biggest community events of the year will take place Aug. 6.

LIVERMORE, CA — The city of Livermore will participate in the annual National Night Out, an event designed to promote civic pride and take a stance against drugs and crime.
On Tuesday, Aug. 6 in Livermore and in more than 15,000 communities across the country, residents are invited to lock their doors, turn their porch lights on, and create and register events, from parades to potluck dinners to cookouts to contests to neighborhood walks and more. Anyone who registers will receive a friendly visit from the Livermore Police Department between 5 and 8 p.m.
