Livermore Sees Drop In Arrests, Use Of Force Incidents From 2022-23

Crime fell in most categories in Livermore, but there were increases robberies, aggravated assaults, burglaries, and more.

LIVERMORE, CA — Crime dropped in most metrics in Livermore from 2022-23, according to a comparison of the Livermore Police Department’s annual reports from both years.

Below is a side-by-side comparison of the major statistics. Arrests and use-of-force incidents fell substantially. The only category that saw an increase was traffic collisions and 911 calls.

Most categories of crimes went down, with the exception of robberies, which rose from 55 to 60, aggravated assault, which rose from 97 to 107, commercial burglary, which rose from 110 to 117, and vehicle theft, which rose from 212 to 238. Below is a comparison chart:
