LIVERMORE, CA — Want to bring a smile to a senior's face? The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is looking for volunteers to dek out shamrocks ahead of St. Patrick's Day.

The shamrocks will bear "lucky messages" for participants in the Robert Livermore Community Center senior lunch program, by Open Heart Kitchen and Spectrum Meals on Wheels.

Volunteers will sign up to make at least six notes and a supply kit is available for pickup Friday at the community center (4444 East Ave.). Return cards by March 5.
