LPC Community Education Offers Summer Camps For Adults And Children
Registration is open for LPC Community Education adult and child summer camps.

From Las Positas College: Registration is open for LPC Community Education adult and child summer camps.
Adult summer camps this year include Civic Engagement with LPC Media instructor Alex Galindo. Campers will learn how to responsibly and civilly participate in the political process in today's climate. Camp consists of 3 modules: Keeping Tabs on the Media, which includes learning to discern reliable information from fake news and surveying ethical standards in the media; fulfilling our civic duty, safely and respectfully with tips to engage in political discourse in a positive way, and learning to protect ourselves from online bullying and misinformation; and a refresher course on U.S. Civics and U.S. Government. The camp is not designed as a forum for discussion of personal political viewpoints, but rather a camp about participating in modern political life.
In addition to the adult summer camp, several favorite community classes are back by popular demand. Beginning Fencing for Kids with Sophie Rheinheimer and summer Kids STEM camps in chemistry and physics. New this summer is our Friday only Real Computer Coding Camp for Kids, taught by Progressive Kids.
