A man told police he was robbed of his cash Monday night while walking home on Andrews Street, near Rincon Avenue.

A man was robbed of cash Monday night shortly after he withdrew the money from an ATM machine, Steven Goard said.

At 10:16 p.m., police received a 911 call from the victim, a 29-year-old Livermore resident, reporting he was robbed of his cash.

The victim, who went to a nearby convenient store and withdrew money from an ATM machine, was walking home at the 600 block of Andrews Street when he was approached from behind by a single suspect, Goard said.
