Six people — two groups of three men in their 20s — were involved in a fight around 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of Livermore and Railroad avenues, said police spokesperson Lt. Taylor Burruss. The fight escalated when one man brandished a knife and stabbed the victim, Burruss said.

Police tracked down everyone involved in the fight and only arrested one person on suspicion of assault, police said. Others were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
