New K-9 Unit Sergeant Selected At Livermore Police Department
Sergeant Marcy Matos was picked to be the new supervisor.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department’s K-9 Unit has a new supervisor.
Sergeant Marcy Matos was selected to be the sergeant of the unit. Matos joined the department in 2016 and was previously a K-9 handler with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
Matos believes being a K-9 handler is challenging but one of the “best and most fulfilling assignments” she's had in more than 16 years working in law enforcement, the department said.
