Person Disguised in Wig Allegedly Robs Bank Friday, Similiar to Livermore Bank Robbery

A similar case happened in Livermore at a Westamerica Bank on June 10.

Morgan Hill, CA— A person disguised in a wig robbed a bank in Morgan Hill this morning, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Citibank located at 17085 Monterey Road just before 11:20 a.m., police said. Responding officers learned the suspect dressed in a wig went inside the bank and handed a demand note to a teller, who followed the orders, police said.

The robber was given an unknown amount of money and left on foot, last seen heading east on East Fifth Street, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man or woman standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 to 200 pounds in a dark brown wig with blonde highlights, police said.

The suspect wore a gray scarf, light gray sweater, black shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, sunglasses and black bag, according to police.

A similar case happened in Livermore at a Westamerica Bank on June 10, when a person in clothing that resembled the Morgan Hill incident went inside and gave a demand note to a teller, police said.
