Police Seek Details on Suspicious Occurrence

Suspicious occurrence reported Feb. 4 on North Vasco Road, near Scenic Avenue.

Here's information provided by the Livermore Police Department:

On February 4, 2013, at approximately 11:20 a.m., the Livermore Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a resident reporting a suspicious occurrence.  The resident’s home looks out onto N. Vasco Road near Scenic Avenue. As the resident was in his home, he heard a commotion from N. Vasco Road. The resident looked out to the street and observed a male forcibly shove a female into a vehicle. The resident stated the female was bare-chested at the time of the incident. After shoving the female into the vehicle, the male got into the driver’s seat and drove away Northbound on N. Vasco Road.

The resident described the vehicle as a maroon four-door, import-type car with gold vehicle badging on the rear. He described the male as a white male adult 30-40 years of age, with brown hair, a medium build, and wearing a dark colored shirt. The female was described as a white female approximately 18-25 years of age with blonde hair. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Officers did find items on the roadway that were collected as evidence. Video surveillance from a nearby business captured the attached photo of the suspect vehicle.
