Rain In Livermore: Where To Get Sandbags This Winter

LIVERMORE, CA — Winter is officially here and rainy weather is in the forecast for Livermore.

• Fire Station #6, 4550 East Ave.
• Fire Station #8, 5750 Scenic Ave.
• Zone 7 Water Agency, 100 North Canyons Parkway (pre-filled bags available; open from November to April only).

Bring a shovel. Sandbags are limited to six per household.

Sandbags should be filled halfway, with the top folded down, according to the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes. Lay the sandbag to rest on the folded top and limit stacking to three layers unless a building is propping the stack up, according to the alliance.
