Road Rage Killing: Holbrook's Arraignment Rescheduled

Livermore man to be tried for murder in road rage killing case.

A will now be arraigned on Dec. 14.

Cort Holbrook was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, but the matter was rescheduled to allow his attorney more time to work the case.

, and has remained in custody at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin in lieu of a $3 million bail.

Once he is arraigned, the judge will also set a date for his jury trial.

Holbrook and were involved in a . The fight led to Holbrook stabbing Ziesmer with a dagger, with Ziesmer later passing away at a hospital.

Holbrook, a software engineer, is married and a father of two. His attorney has said the slaying was done in self defense.
