Rotary Club Of Livermore Valley To Host Annual Chili Cook-Off
The annual event featuring live music, vendors and chili tasting, is open to the entire community.

LIVERMORE, CA — Things are about to get spicy at Livermore's Carnegie Park, 2155 Third Street, this weekend when the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley hosts its third annual Chili Cook Off.
Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the annual event is open to the entire community which is invited to enjoy a day in the park tasting the best chili in town, a press release from the rotary said.
The event will also feature live music from the Rotary Bandstand, local beer and wine sampling, a vendor area for shopping from local merchants and artisans and other activities at the community booths.

There will also be a children's area complete with arts, crafts, and interactive drumming while food trucks and booths will offer additional food and beverages.
"Over $5,000 in raffle prizes are available," the news release said. "And everyone is invited to vote for their favorite chili, with the winners announced at 5 p.m."

The 2023 Cook Off will be the single largest fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley, funding community grants and supporting the needs of local families, veterans, and schools.
Admission to the park is free and allows access to all booths and activities. Tickets to taste and vote on the best chili are 5 for $20. Tickets for wine & beer are $10. Tickets will be sold at the event.
