LIVERMORE, CA — A sheared fire hydrant in Livermore left quite the mess.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department shared a video Wednesday of firefighters responding to shut down the fire hydrant, which caused apparent flooding in the immediate area.

Firefighters stood ankle-deep in water, beneath a water column that appeared to be three times as tall as the firefighters.
