Smoke Expected In Livermore During Prescribed Burn This Week

LIVERMORE, CA — Expect to see smoke in the area as part of a prescribed burn with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Alameda County Fire Department.

The annual prescribed burn started Wednesday and lasts throughout the week at the laboratory's experimental testing site. Site 300 is off Corral Hollow Road south of Tracy.

Wednesday's burn focuses on the southeast and east perimeters, an official with the laboratory said.
