Identity Theft Suspects Arrested In Livermore: Police
Police say two women with criminal pasts were found with numerous cards and IDs tied to more than 30 identity theft victims.
LIVERMORE, CA — Two Stockton women were arrested in Livermore after police said her car contained burglary tools and ample evidence of identity theft.
On June 3 just after midnight, Livermore police conducted a traffic stop on the 2000 block of Las Positas Road, according to a report from the Livermore Police Department. The passenger identified herself as Elaina Zachocki, 31, of Stockton, and told officers she had an active warrant. Police say the driver initially provided a false name, but was later identified as Thaveesak Kham, 35, of Stockton.
Officers searched her car and found a key that reportedly contained numerous shaved keys. Another search of the car reportedly uncovered burglary tools, multiple ID cards, a fake driver's license, opened mail, and numerous credit, debit, and EBT cards. Police say many of the recovered documents and cards were tied to more than 30 identity theft victims from across the Central Valley.

According to a records check, both suspects had prior felony convictions related to identity theft, police said.
Zachocki and Kham were arrested on multiple charges related to identity theft, possessing a false ID, false impersonation, and outstanding warrants.
