‘Swirl For A Cause’ Event To Benefit Ukrainian Refugees

Local musicians are getting together in Livermore to raise money for Doctors Without Borders helping refugees in Ukraine.

LIVERMORE, CA — Musicians are putting their talents to use in Livermore in an effort to help Ukrainian refugees.

They’re joining Swirl on the Square for ‘Swirl for a Cause,’ a fundraising event featuring live music at the historic Blacksmith Square in Livermore.

Money raised at the event will go to Doctors Without Borders to help Ukrainian refugees.

The Jack Quigley Souled Out band will host the event. A handful of local musicians will join them, including:

  • Loren O
  • Patrick Noel Russ
  • Steve Kritzer
  • Brian Skinner
  • Tim Gomes
  • Rob Allen and Kevin Snyder from Kinetic
  • Jeremy Malson and Frankie Bones from The Dustbowl Travelers
  • Steve Powell from Namaste.

“Stephanie Fish from Swirl on the Square says the restaurant will donate 100% of their profits to the cause. People will also have opportunities to make direct donations,” Quigley said.

All of the musicians are donating their time and talents. Quigley said he rallied the artists together so everyone can “sing their songs of peace.”

Swirl for a Cause is March 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
