Traffic Shift Along Westbound I-580 From Livermore to Pleasanton

Here's an announcement provided by Caltrans:

Alameda County –Beginning Thursday, March 21^st, to Monday, March 25^th, Caltrans will shift all lanes towards the outside shoulder of the roadway along westbound I-580 from east of Airway Blvd to west of San Ramon/Foothill Blvd in order to accommodate the upcoming construction of a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane. 

The schedule of work is as follows:

• Thursday: 7 p.m .– 5 a.m.
• Friday: 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.
• Sunday: 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.
• Monday: 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Lane closures will be in effect and motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to take alternate routes if necessary and also that traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
