Two Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries in Livermore Traffic Collision

Three people were extricated from two separate vehicles, according to fire officials.

Livermore, CA — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in a traffic collision early this morning in Livermore, according to Alameda County Fire Department officials.

Firefighters and paramedics responded at 4:38 a.m. to a collision on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 east of Carroll Road in the Altamont Pass.

Three people were extricated from two separate vehicles, according to fire officials. Two of the three people suffered life-threatening injuries. The other suffered injuries not considered life-threatening, fire
officials said.
