Brush Fire Contained At 91 Acres Near Livermore, San Ramon
The fire was reported off Highland Road and Camino Tassajara. Smoke could be seen throughout the Tri-Valley.
LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters contained a brush fire near Livermore and San Ramon at 91.9 acres, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District officials said. The fire was contained Monday night just before 6, Cal Fire said.
Firefighters expected to stay at the location for a couple of hours to make sure everything was fully extinguished, Cal Fire said.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. Injuries are unknown.

Multiple agencies worked together on containing the blaze. Firefighters from San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, Alameda County Fire Department and Contra Costa Fire Protection District all responded to the blaze, which was reported near Highland Road and Camino Tassajara between San Ramon and Pleasanton.
When firefighters arrived, they found fire on both sides of Collier Canyon Road, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District officials said.

Video showed helicopters above the hills.
The fire was reported at 2:51 p.m. Monday, according to the PulsePoint phone app.
Cal Fire sent aircraft, bulldozers and hand crews.
Smoke could be seen from across Tri-Valley.
