Wente Vineyards Summer Live Concert Series Starts In June

LIVERMORE, CA — Summer is a musical time in the Tri-Valley, with many cities sponsoring free, weekly concerts downtown. Another musical spot is Livermore’s iconic Wente Vineyards, which recently announced the lineup for its Summer Live Concert Series.

For each concert, gates will open at 5 p.m., and guests can enjoy Wente Vineyards wine, beer, and cocktails, and enjoy food from a diverse array of trucks. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and seating is first come, first served. All events are 21 and over. General admission is $50 per ticket, though club discounts and VIP admission are also available.

June 7 - Queen Nation

Enjoy Queen hits from one of the West Coast’s premier tribute bands.

June 14 - Crawdad Republic Plus Wolf Hamlin and The Front Porch Drifters

Enjoy folk, bluegrass, and a “bourbon-soaked mix of outlaw country, mid-tempo gems, and whiskey ballads, evoking a bygone era where music served as a soulful remedy.”

June 28 - Best Intentions

Five vocalists and an eight-piece band will add their distinctive touch to some of the best Motown and R&B hits.

July 6 - The Sun Kings

Enjoy Beatles hits from one of the best tribute acts.

July 19 - Billy Nation

One of the nation’s premier Billy Joel tribute bands works hard to not only recapture the magic of his songs, but the energy of his live performances.

August 9 - ILLEAGLES

What better place to belt out “Hotel California” than a lush California vineyard? This Bay Area Eagles tribute band works hard to recreate the band’s greatest hits.

August 24 - Evolution

Don’t stop believin’ in Evolution, the Bay Area’s best Journey tribute band.

In addition to concerts, Wente is also hosting screenings of “Wonka” on July 11, “The Hunger Games” July 18 and “Top Gun” on July 25.
