LONG BEACH, CA — A fast-casual Hawaiian BBQ restaurant is opening its first location in Long Beach this week, saying "aloha" to the city with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a BOGO deal.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ's grand opening is Friday and will feature Hawaiian dancers, $100 gift card raffles, exclusive merch giveaways and an all-day buy one get one free deal, the restaurant announced in a press release this month.

"The newly remodeled space introduces the brand’s island-style favorites to a new community, marking a new expansion into the Long Beach area," according to the press release.

Using only the freshest ingredients and making everything from scratch, Ono Hawaiian BBQ looks to bring "the culture and 'Aloha' spirit of Hawaii" into each of their locations, according to restaurant officials.
