LBPD Shoots Suspect In Montebello: Report
A suspect was shot by Long Beach Police in the City of Montebello during an investigation, according to the LBPD.

LONG BEACH, CA — A suspect was shot by Long Beach Police in the City of Montebello during an investigation, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
According to reports from ABC7, police were gathered in the area of West Beverly Boulevard and North Garfield Avenue in Montebello around 12 p.m. Tuesday. Sources told ABC7 LBPD officers were sent to Montebello to investigate two suspects, but no additional details were available.
One suspect was shot and his condition is unknown, ABC7 said. The second suspect barricaded himself in a nearby apartment, leading police to evacuate nearby complexes as a precautionary measure.
