Long Beach DUI Saturdation Patrol Nets 3
The department made 53 stops during the patrol period Saturday.

LONG BEACH, CA -- Three people were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving over the weekend during a DUI saturation patrol Saturday, police reported Monday.
Long Beach Police Department made 53 vehicle stops between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday, resulting in three alcohol-related arrests, police said.
Drivers caught driving while drunk may face jail time, fines and fees that can exceed $10,000, police said.

The department said the next DUI/license checkpoint Saturday, June 18, in an effort to lower deaths and injuries on the city's streets and highways.
