Man Critically Wounded In Long Beach Shooting

The shooting happened over the weekend in Long Beach's Washington neighborhood, according to authorities.

LONG BEACH, CA — A man was hospitalized over the weekend after being shot in Long Beach's Washington neighborhood, according to police.

Details about what led up to the shooting are still limited, with police saying it happened Saturday around 3 a.m. in the 1700 block of Magnolia Avenue.

There, responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the man to a local hospital, where he was listed as being in critical but stable condition, according to the LBPD.
