Man Dies After Being Struck By 2 Cars In Long Beach
The crash happened Sunday night in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Fe Avenue in Long Beach, according to authorities.
LONG BEACH, CA — A man died Sunday night when he was struck by two cars while crossing the street in Long Beach, police said.
Police say the man was crossing Pacific Coast Highway outside of a marked crosswalk near Santa Fe Avenue when he was hit by a driver going westbound just before 9 p.m.
The man was then struck by a second driver also going westbound on PCH, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The pedestrian died at the scene, the LBPD said. He was only identified by police as a 47-year-old Ontario resident. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office will identify him after notifying his family of the death.
The drivers involved in the fatal crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said. It appears that speed, distracted driving or impaired driving were not factors in the crash, police said.
