LONG BEACH, CA — Police say they're investigating the death of a man who was shot in Long Beach Thursday morning. Few details were immediately available, but the shooting happened around 5.16 a.m. in the 2000 block of Harding Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The area is just east of Cherry Avenue in North Long Beach. There, responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body, police said. He died at the scene, according to police.
