Man Killed In 605 Freeway In Long Beach Identified
A 31-year-old man was killed in a collision involving a box truck and a big rig.
LONG BEACH, CA — Authorities Thursday identified a man who was killed in a collision involving a box truck and a big rig on the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Long Beach.
The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. Wednesday near Wardlow Road, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Long Beach Fire Department.
Jose Deras, 31, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner and the CHP.
