Man Shot During Attempted Robbery In Long Beach: Police Say
Los Angeles County fire officials then took the man to a hospital, where he was in stable condition, according to police.
LONG BEACH, CA — A man was shot during an attempted robbery in Long Beach on Sunday, police say.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting and street takeover just after 1:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of Downey Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department said.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies also responded to the area first and helped the man, who had been shot in the lower body, police said.
