Manhattan Beach Police Raising Funds for Special Olympics
The event has raised more than $50,000 for local Special Olympics athletes since 2012, according to the MBPD.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- Dinners at Tin Roof Bistro on Thursday will be seated and served by members of the Manhattan Beach Police Department for its annual "Tip-A-Cop" fundraiser.
During the event, MBPd officers and staff will collect tips and donations to benefit the Special Olympics, "which provides athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the South Bay Area." Tips and donations are tax-deductible.
The event has raised more than $50,000 for local Special Olympics athletes since 2012, according to the MBPD.

The "Tip-A-Cop" event will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tin Roof Bistro, 3500 N. Sepulveda Blvd.
