Metro C Line Suspended In Long Beach For System Upgrades

Free bus shuttles will be available for passengers as weekend rail service at the Long Beach Boulevard Station will be suspended.

LONG BEACH, CA — Weekend rail service for the Metro C Line will be suspended at the Long Beach Boulevard Station due to signal system upgrades.

The station will be closed starting Friday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. and go until the end of the day on Sunday, Oct. 2. The upgrades are designed to allow for a smoother transition for Metro trains entering and exiting stations and train yards, according to Metro.

Free bus shuttles will be available between the Norwalk Station and the Long Beach Boulevard station. Metro asks that passengers allow extra travel time and patience.
