Metro A Line Service Suspended In Long Beach

Due to power line repairs, service on the Metro A Line trains from downtown Long Beach and Willow Station is suspended.

LONG BEACH, CA — Buses will replace Los Angeles Metro Trains in Downtown Long Beach on Tuesday due to crews repairing damaged power lines along the route.

Shuttles will be available between Willow Station and Downtown Long Beach through to Pacific Coast Highway, Anaheim, 5th Street, 1st Street, downtown and Pacific Stations.

The train service will run as normal between Willow Station and Azusa, with minor delays anticipated. Train service to Azusa Pacific and bus shuttle service will continue until repairs to the power cables are complete. Repairs are expected to take most of Tuesday to complete.

There are announcements being made onboard trains and at station platforms to alert passengers of the repairs and service suspensions.

Metro personnel are also available at stations to assist passengers.
