Long Beach Music Instructor Suspected Of Exposing Himself To Minor
A Long Beach music instructor is suspected of multiple indecent exposure incidents, including against minors.

LONG BEACH, CA — A Long Beach music instructor was arrested on suspicion of multiple indecent exposure incidents dating back to 2021.
In October 2023, a female minor reported indecent exposure incidents to the Long Beach Police Department that occurred in February and March of 2022. Through investigation, Child and Elder Abuse detectives identified Silas Topzand, 25 of Long Beach and a music instructor, as the suspect.
During the investigation, detectives connected Topzand to two additional incidents and an active warrant for his arrest.

The first incident of indecent exposure occurred in September 2021 near Cherry Avenue and 2nd Street against an adult woman. The second incident was also reported by an adult woman and happened near Lakewood Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway in January 2022, according to LBPD.
Topzand was located and arrested on June 6 in San Pedro and was transported to the Long Beach City Jail, where his bail was set at $150,000. He was booked on suspicion of lewd/lascivious acts with a child and indecent exposure as well as for the arrest warrant.
